Our Commitment to the Faith

History
In 1995, a group of Catholic parents sought to establish a junior-senior high school rooted in the Catholic Faith. Recognizing the need for an alternative to homeschooling and public education, they founded Holy Cross Academy, incorporating in 1996 and opening in 1997. Originally housed at Holy Cross Church in New London, the school moved to St. Joseph Parish Center in Oneida in 2000 before purchasing its current home on Barrington Road in 2002.
